While CAM stands for computer-aided manufacturing in which the process of manufacturing any product or goods can be done by using software and machinery.
CAD
Computer-aided design (CAD) software is a sophisticated type of application software that assists a professional user in creating engineering, architectural, and scientific designs. For example, engineers create design plans for vehicles and security systems. Architects design building structures and floor plans. Scientists design drawings of molecular structures.
CAM
CAM stands for computer-aided manufacturing in which the process of manufacturing any product or goods can be done by using software and machinery. In other words computer-aided manufacturing refers to the computer that can automatically manufacture products used in a factory. There are some example of Computer-Aided Manufacturing Machines Real-Time Controls and Robotics etc.
Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) can’t be done without CAM. And CAM can only be done by using CAD software’s. The production of products can be increased because of CAM Machinery and there can be less waste of energy and resources because of CAM.
