This software has no restrictions from the copyright holder regarding modification of the software’s internal instructions and its redistribution. Open source software usually can be downloaded from the Internet, often at no cost.
Closed Source Software
Closed Source Software also known as Proprietary software is the software whose source code is not published publically. So no one can modify that software or make any changes because of their source code. So, Closed Source Software is directly opposite to the Open Source Software. Companies who sell their software for money, they do not share it’s source code. Even the Software companies that share their software free, don’t give their software’s source code.
