Or in computer language, process refers to the set of instructions that are currently being processed by the computer processor.

A workflow is a defined process that identifies the specific set of steps involved in completing a particular project or business process. A workflow may be a written set of rules or a set of rules that exists in an information system. A workflow application is a program that assists in the management and tracking of all the activities in a business process from start to finish. Enterprises use workflow applications to assist in defining complex workflows.
Process
The act of manipulating data, altering data or viewing data is known as Process. Or in computer language, process refers to the set of instructions that are currently being processed by the computer processor. You can view each process your processor is doing in windows by using task manager. There are many windows processes that a user cannot see without task manager. For example, a scanning device software runs in the background, to view it you have to use task Manager.
And in general, the set of rules defined in a place that must be followed is known are known as Process.
